A Historic Setting
An Unforgettable Beginning

Just 20 minutes south of Tacoma and approximately an hour from Seattle, The Owl’s Nest offers a peaceful countryside setting on seven acres in Roy, Washington. Framed by views of Mount Rainer, our historic dairy barn blends rustic character with timeless elegance.

A warm welcoming place to bring your people together and make the occasion your own.

Exchange vows in the loft or beneath the oak trees, gather for a wedding reception, or celebrate a milestone worth remembering. From intimate rehearsal dinners and birthdays to holiday parties, corporate gatherings, and charity events, every celebration deserves a beautiful setting. Whatever brings you together, we’re here to help you create something magical.

Your Day, Your Way

We offer more than a beautiful backdrop. Our approach to hosting is generous, flexible, and accommodating. We’re not going to rush you out or make you bend to excessive rules and limitations.

  • Full-Day Rental - Your event day includes time until midnight. No rushing your last dance.
  • Full Use of the entire venue - Indoor and outdoor options to use however you may need. You’re not limited to one area.
  • Extra Setup and Clean up Time - We give you six hours the day before your event for setup, decorating, and rehearsals. Enjoy your celebration and head home when you’re done. You can come by for six hours the day after your event to clean up at your pace — or let us handle cleanup for a small fee.
  • Keep the Party Going - Outdoor music stops at 10 PM, but you can move indoors and dance the night away in our event space.
